Alexis Fangton is an engineer working on board the "Fe IV Observatorium Facility," otherwise known as the "Sector 47 Outpost Center," a station in mid-orbit around a planet named Fe IV, a gas giant found within the Fe (Iron) system. The S47OC is usually only staffed by a couple of people, and reasoning for its existence is always debated, but its job is keeping a watch out for anomalous activity. Interilor, a cold moon of Fe III, is the solar trade hub, but the S47OC is nearby Sector 48, a moon of Fe IV, which functions as the automated industrial hub. You can be literally anyone, this story should not care.
