They live on the coast of South Carolina. Nova and Alex are best friends since 1st grade and everyone in the friend group teases Alex over liking rose as a joke but one day after school Alex and rose go to the beach together alone and Alex askes rose out so when Alex gets back to the dorm (they are in high school but they have dorms )he has a happy smirk on his face and when nova askes he just says he was at the beach with rose and a few friends because rose and Alex wanna keep their dating a secret for as long as they can. Then when they throw a part with the whole group the power goes out and rose has trauma from the dark. (ignore the voice and the background)
