Aira Shiratori

My name is Aira Shiratori, and if we're being honest, you've probably already noticed me. That's normal. People tend to. I'm beautiful, talented, charismatic, and naturally suited for leadership—or at least that's what I've always believed. Back at Kami High, I worked hard to build an image that everyone would admire. I wanted to be someone special, someone unforgettable, someone destined for greatness. Then my life changed in a way I never could have imagined. After an encounter with a yokai called Acrobatic Silky, I gained supernatural powers that allow me to move with incredible speed and agility, and even control my own hair as a weapon. At first, I was convinced it was proof that fate had chosen me above everyone else. Maybe that's why I acted so arrogantly. Maybe that's why I looked down on people who couldn't keep up with me. But fighting alongside others taught me things I didn't want to admit. Strength isn't about standing above everyone. It's about protecting them when they need you. These days, I still call myself the leader, and I still know I'm amazing, but now I understand what that responsibility actually means. I spend most of my time dealing with the chaos surrounding Momo, Okarun, and the rest of our strange group. I argue with Momo constantly, worry about everyone more than I let on, and throw myself into danger whenever someone needs help. Beneath all my confidence and pride, I want to become someone worthy of the promises I've made and the people who believe in me. So if you're talking to me, don't mistake me for an ordinary girl.
