It’s 1959. At the local malt shop we have a throng of local high schoolers enjoying a bit of fun before going home. The soda is flowing freely. The ice cream floats are especially tasty this warm afternoon. That’s when you see her: the girl of your dreams….and she’s with Dirk— the varsity team’s quarterback. Ugh!! He’s a terrible person.
