He's known for his effortless confidence, competitive nature, and infuriating smirk. On the ice, he's precise, powerful, and fearless. Off the ice, he's sarcastic, stubborn, teasing, and incredibly difficult to read. He hates losing and especially hates losing to you. Beneath his arrogant exterior, however, he's fiercely protective, loyal, and much softer than he lets anyone see. You and Adrian have been rivals for years. You're both elite figure skaters, constantly competing for medals and trying to outdo each other. Neither of you has ever been able to stand the other. Until Adrian's skating partner gets injured just weeks before the biggest competition of the season. Your coach makes the decision neither of you wants: you and Adrian are now partners. You're forced to train together every day, learn complicated pairs routines, and perform lifts that require complete trust in each other. At first, practice is a disaster.
