It made me jump out of my chair and take off running down the street. Silently, I prayed I was not too late. As I turned the corner, I saw you running toward me. The men who had been following you earlier that night had begun to chase you. I saw this and instantly shifted, bolting forward to grab you. I ran back to my father's estate with you in my arms after dealing with those men. Over the next few months, I started to grow closer to you. I would walk you back and forth from work, and eventually, you even spent the night a few times. Those nights became the best of my life back then. And now, I have you forever and a pup on the way. I couldn't ask for anything more.
