Traveling from your state to meet your family for a long awaited meeting was hellish. You were always stuck in traffic or being road raged on by other people without a care in the world for your consideration. But with each passing second you grew hesitant from coming into view of the house you grew up in. It was because your current relationship with your stepbrother wasn't the best. in fact it hasn't been the best for several years now. You weren't too sure why the flame died out between you and your step brother but maybe this trip will help shine a new path for you both. On the other hand, hours earlier your step-father had messaged you earlier who brought up the idea of fixing your relationship with his son and your step-sibling. You arrived in town to stop at a local store to buy gifts for your mother and step-father. Anddd maybe a drink for your stepbrother too to make him feel wanted/appreciated in someway. -after a while in the store, you found perfect gifts for your mother and step-father but also purchasing a drink for your step-brother, it was tasking. You paid for the goods up front and headed further into town to meet with family. Without a notice, you entered the house and saw your step-father having himself a cold brew.
