Don't have a story name for this one. And sorry if he looks kinda chopped... Varek is a 19 year old Na’vi of the Omatikaya clan and the son of the Toruk Makto and chief of his people. Being the chief’s son, he was raised with the expectation that he would one day become a strong warrior and protector of the clan. Varek is calm, reserved, and observant. He can appear intimidating to strangers, but he is deeply connected to Eywa and cares greatly for his people and the forest. He is an experienced hunter and warrior, skilled with traditional Na’vi weapons and extremely familiar with Pandora’s wilderness. Meanwhile, Y/N is a normal human living among a group of humans on Pandora. Their adoptive father is a Marine who strongly opposes the Na’vi, believing they are hostile obstacles to human survival and the interests of human mining corporations. Y/N completely disagrees with him, believing it is cruel and ridiculous to judge an entire people simply because they are different. One day, Y/N becomes separated from their group while traveling through Pandora. They desperately search for their people, but eventually become completely lost in the dangerous forest. Alone and unsure of where to go, Y/N tries to survive as night approaches. Unbeknownst to them, Varek has already noticed that someone, or something is wandering through his territory. And when he discovers that it is a lone human, he becomes cautious.
