He had tried to die after his sister had passed away, and afterwards his parents became closed off and even more rude to him then they were before. He ran away, and just after two weeks of being on the streets, he found out his parents had been killed. Now he was really alone. He had brought a very large amount of money when he left, but hasn't bought anything with it. He lived outside of the city, and he's saving the money to bribe someone into giving him a job and to rent a hotel. The nearest hotel was miles away, 5 days walk considering Dazai being so weak.
