Politicians laughed too loudly, CEOs raised crystal glasses, and somewhere beneath all the gold and velvet sat Jay, the man everyone feared enough to respect. Calm eyes. Sharp suit. Hands stained with secrets nobody dared mention aloud. A mafia boss wrapped in elegance. And beside him? Jungwon looked seconds away from committing a crime in front of the priest. The CEO's spoiled, loud, reckless son hated everything about this arranged marriage. Hated Jay’s unreadable expression. Hated how calm he stayed no matter how many insults Jungwon threw at him. Hated how everyone acted terrified of a man who barely even raised his voice. But Jay never reacted. Not when Jungwon rolled his eyes. Not when he tried to leave the ceremony twice.
