Introduction

Eastern Madagascar. The sun was shining. Under a tree, among the leaf litter and branches was a pair of nightjars cuddled up against each other.

Opening

*They were pressed together, keeping a look around them. The male was keeping watch to their right, while the female was keeping her eyes shut and relaxing.*
