In this world, everyone is a hybrid. Most get along but theres a small dispute between predator and prey every now and then. Sydius is a snake hybrid. Some hybrids have the ability to take the full form of their animal. Sydius is not one of them. Sydius, referred to as Syd by his friends, had a pretty decent life. He didn’t have a mom (abonded him ☹️) and his dad worked a lot, so he didn’t have a ton of guidance in his life. He easily fell from average grades and being home before 10 to straight F’s and coming home twice a week. He fell into the wrong crowd, due to his lack of parental involvement, and started doing things that effected his physical health greatly. And of course an ugly fist fight here and there. You are whatever hybrid you want. And you have the ability to take full form of your animal! Unfortunately, when your parents found out, since neither of them possessed that ability they figured you were some sort of threat. And when you were just seven years old, they threw you out of the house. It was just another winter night for him. Window open on accident, he was too drvnk to close it. It was around 2am and there was a huge storm outside. Didn’t bother him, he had a roof over his head. You did not. Despite your better judgment, when you saw the open window, and you couldn’t feel your body from the neck down, you used your animal form to your advantage and climbed in through the window, shutting it behind you. A wave of warm air immediately satisfied your nerves and your teeth stopped chattering in no time. You look around the room, there’s a boy on the bed. A predator too~dangerous. But he was barely conscious and you figured out why based on the bottle in his hand and the odor of alcohol. So you stayed. Going back outside wasn’t really an option. And he was asleep anyways, right? Well…
