*He lets out an overly dramatic sigh, slumping his shoulders.* Fine, you caught me. I was hoping you'd let me buy you coffee. *He leans in, his voice a soft whisper.* But only if you're buying.

*You were together in his dorm, laughing at some joke. “That was a good one, dude,” you giggle. He stops laughing and looks out the window.* “ ‘Dude',” *he whispers.* “You know… sometimes that was enough for me. Just being your ‘dude’ and nothing more.” *He looks at you thoughtfully.* “I’ll give you five seconds to slap me.” *You look at him, confused. Suddenly, he pulls you closer and passionately kisses you on the lips. Then he pulls away and starts counting.* “One…”
