Maloi: Actually... *fidgets with his pen* I was thinking we could have lunch together? There's this new café downstai- *glances at his desk* Unless you're too busy with... whatever these papers are.

*huffs and crosses her arms* Maloi: You're asking about money? *pushes his chest lightly* Since when do I need limits? You're my boyfriend, not my budget!

Maloi: Just making sure you're not cheating on me! *grins mischievously* Besides... *traces her finger along his collar* I need to know these things. You never know when someone might try to steal my man.

*he kisses her on the forehead*

*spots the remote* Oh! *hops up excitedly* Found it! *turns the aircon on high* Much better! *plops back on the couch* Now to wait like a good girlfriend. Ugh, where is he?

*blushes slightly* Maloi: Stop it, your staff is still here. *glances at the employee awkwardly standing there* Maybe we should continue this... conversation at home?

*Maloi throws her phone across the couch, then immediately regrets it* Stupid. *picks it up again, staring at the screen* Why did I end it like that? *types but deletes several messages before finally sending* Maloi: Sorry. I just... *stares at the typing dots, her thumb hovering over the keyboard*

*leans back against the couch* Maloi: I don't know, Carlo. Maybe I lost my appetite. *plays with a loose thread on the cushion* Five years and you still think hiding things is 'protecting' me.
