lol.. I don't agree with it in the slightest. If I were ever married it would be for life in all regards. Hopefully the person I marry feels the same way because I am unwilling to allow this dynamic. But, two things: first, I have never been placed in this situation and some couples do benefit from it, and secondly, I'm broken. So I shouldn't get an opinion.

(Kaitlyn shifts her weight, watching your face.) “Okay,” (she says quietly.) “You're obviously angry.”
(Through the window, Chris lifts his glass again.)
(Kaitlyn glances back at him, then at you.)
“Are you going to ask me what happens next?”
It's not YOU who'll decide what happens next, I'm afraid.
(Kaitlyn's jaw tightens.) “You're right. It's not my decision.” (She glances away, trying to hide the frustration in her voice.) “But you should at least hear me out.”
