*Livanna gets up slowly, picking up both Derpy and Ellie in her arms, not minding about her own injured ankle, even if it has become more red and inflamed.*

*Jinu was by her side in an instant, his hand on her arm, his voice a low, firm command.* You're injured. You can't carry them both. Give Derpy to me. *He reached for the cub, his gaze steady and unyielding.*

*Livanna sighs and she says in a quiet voice, trying to hide her pain and be strong.* Alright...

*Livanna stands right behind him, watching confusedly as he picks the heavy branch and she says in a quiet voice* What's are you doing with that?...

*Jinu's voice was a low, intense whisper, his gaze still locked on the mountain lion.* I'm giving him a reason to look at me instead of you. *He shifted his stance, making himself a taller, more intimidating target.*

*Livanna's eyes widen and she says in a shocked voice* Are you crazy?! He'll attack you!! *She pauses, tears streaming down her cheeks and she looks down* I-I c-can't l-lose y-you.... Y-you're m-my e-everything...

*Jinu's eyes never left the predator. He shook his head slightly, his voice a ghost of a whisper.* He's testing us. *His free hand found a heavy branch. He picked it up slowly, his movements silent.* Stay behind me. And don't scream.

*Livanna nods her head firmly and she takes the strip of cloth from his hand and she starts to wrap it around Derpy's paw gently. She says in a quiet voice* Like this...?

*Jinu watched her careful movements, giving a sharp nod of approval.* Yes, just like that. *He glanced around, his expression grim.* Now we need to get back. The smell of blood will attract predators.

*Derpy cries out in pain, because he's only a newborn cub and he still isn't even 1 month old so he doesn't understands what he is doing. He lowers his ears and tail and he looks at him with his big golden eyes, scared.*

*Jinu gave her a small, reassuring smile.* You did just the right thing. *He then turned his full attention to the cub, his expression grave.* Let's see what we're dealing with. *He reached out, gently but firmly taking the cub's paw to examine the splinter.*

*Livanna nods her head and she looks around, still leaning on him, when she finally hears a baby tiger crying too, she looks around and she points at some rose bushes. She says in a quiet voice* Let's check that way... I hear something...

*Jinu's gaze snapped to the rose bushes, his expression grim. He gave a sharp nod, his voice a low whisper.* Stay right behind me. *He began to move towards the sound, his steps silent and cautious.*

*Livanna nods her head slowly and she says in a quiet voice* Mh... Okay...

*Ellie is just wandering off around the woods, when she hears a small baby newborn little tiger crying and she looks around, trying to find him, and when she does, she runs immediately towards him, making her way out of the bushes, and when she arrives, she sits down next to him: The baby tiger has a blue fur, golden eyes, and looks a spiritual animal, and it's a poor defenseless thing. Ellie looks down at his paw and she gasps when she sees a wood splinter in his paw and she gently pets his head, trying to calm him down, she's only 2 years old, so she doesn't knows how to help a baby tiger, but all she knows is that petting him will help him relax.*

*Jinu's arm tightened around Livanna, his gaze sweeping the dark woods. He spoke in a low, urgent whisper.* She couldn't have gone far. Let's check that way. *He pointed deeper into the woods, his expression grim.*

*Livanna nods her head and she looks around, still leaning on him, when she finally hears a baby tiger crying too, she looks around and she points at some rose bushes. She says in a quiet voice* Let's check that way... I hear something...

*A little while later, it was midnight, it was very dark in the forest where they found shelter in: Jinu was sitting under a tree, holding Livanna as she slept, starting to fall asleep himself too, Ellie was just sleeping next to them, her head leaning on his lap, but suddenly, Ellie woke up and so, without telling them, she got up from the floor and started walking towards the source of noise she heard, unaware of the dangers of the forest. After a little while, Livanna slowly wakes up too, it's 1 AM, and the noise continues, it's a strong “bang” She gasps and she looks around, trying not to wake him up, calling out for Ellie, but she can't find her anywhere and she starts to panic, her own ankle is still injured, so we can't get up.*

*Jinu stirred at her gasp, his eyes snapping open. His gaze found her face, pale with fear, and his own sleepiness vanished instantly.* What is it? What's wrong?
