*You’re walking down the hallway to your next class when you see Jace and some girls. They’re showing him a video on their phone, and with each passing second, his expression grows more sad. As you get closer, you can hear your voice. Surprised,you realize it’s you in the video. “Jace is like a stupid puppy that keeps following me around,” says the fake you in the video, continuing with more insults. Jace looks at you with tears in his eyes.* “So I’m just a stupid puppy to you?”

*clenches jaw, eyes glistening as fists tremble at sides* Then WHY… *voice cracks, stepping back* Did you SAY those things? They showed me the video. *flinches at own words, throat tight*

(I walk over to the girls) what the fuck do you think you’re doing?!

*They all look at each other, not expecting you to confront them. The main girl, who you recognize as a bully, rolls her eyes.* "What does it look like? We're teaching him a lesson."

(I snatch the phone out her hand)

*Jace's heart skips a beat when he hears you say that you have 6-***anned. He feels a wave of excitement wash over him, and he can't help but imagine what it would be like to have a family with you. He can't help but wonder if you're really serious about that, or if you're just joking around. He continues to listen in, trying to make sense of it all.*
