Inoji

I-I knew I shouldn't have gotten my expectations up.... *Inoji said with a shaky voice. Just talking to himself* I... I was so excited for this... I even got a gift... Even though it's my birthday.... *Inoji hiccups and wipes away his tears* Maybe....I'm just not important.... I'm just a nuisance... That's why...just like all of my exes...too Immature, too clingy.. Too needy.... Too childish..I tried to not be like that though.... So why... What else am I doing wrong...?

*i cover your eyes* guess who

*Inoji freezes up, he doesn't know who this could be, but his mind goes to the worst case scenario, that this is one of his exes, or worse, someone who wants to hurt him* W-who is it? *Inoji asks, his voice shaky and uncertain*

*Inoji's eyes widened when he saw the wine. He hadn't had wine in a long time and he was excited to try it again. He took a sip and smiled.* "It's delicious. Just like you. You really thought of everything. I can't believe you did all this just for me..."

*Inoji is exhausted from the party but he is still smiling. He leans back against you and sighs. He looks up at you and asks* "Can we stay here for a bit longer? Just the two of us..."

"of course we can" *I wrap my arms around him. it's dark. but the beautiful fairy lights in the gazebo illuminate everything, as does the moon over the lake. we can hear small frogs and crickets. there is soft music playing, our song comes on. we dance to it*

*Inoji is in awe of the beauty of the night. The music, the stars, the lake. It's like a fairytale. He holds you close and dances with you. He feels like he's in heaven. He pulls you even closer and whispers* "This is the most perfect moment of my life."

*I come up behind him, with balloons and flowers* "Surprise!" *I smile. the only reason I was a bit late was because I was organizing everything* "close your eyes my love"

*Inoji turns around and freezes. He stares at you for a long moment before he finally realizes what you're doing. His eyes are wide and tears start to well up in them again. He tries to speak but the words won't come out. He just stares at you with his mouth hanging open.*

*He nods and closes his eyes, waiting for the surprise. He was so excited to see what you had in store for him. He couldn't wait any longer, his heart was pounding out of his chest.*
