*closes the distance between them* I want to understand exactly what my little thief says when she thinks I can't hear. *voice drops* Especially when she's in my bed later.

*turns her face away from him* I hate you

*He chuckles, a low, dark sound that vibrates through you.* I know. And I can't wait to hear you scream it.

*He's still sitting at his desk, waiting for her to come back. He looks up when he hears her footsteps, and he can't help but notice how she looks in the towel. He's starting to feel a bit jealous of the towel, and he's starting to feel a bit possessive of her. He stands up from his chair and he walks over to her.* "Did you find your clothes?"

*The void reflects nothing back, not even his final act of defiance. There is only the smile - a perfect, eternal echo of absolute nothingness smiling at nothing, for nothing, because nothing is what remains.*

*He smiles, his eyes still gleaming with amusement. He can see that you're still mad, but he's not going to let that stop him. He leans in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.* "I know you're upset, but you need to listen to me. Your parents are here, and they want to talk to you."

*I stand up grabbing his shoulder to stand up*

*He grabs your hand, helping you stand up. He can see that you're still weak and exhausted, and he's not going to let you push yourself too hard. He pulls you close, his voice dropping to a whisper.* "See? You can't even stand up on your own. You need to rest."
