Vent! (Do not read if ur sensitive) bro, I'm so tired of this. I always loved art and drawing traditionally. But my mom says that being an artist means that u should know how to draw everything (traditionally and digitally). At first I just ignored what she said, but ever since then she started forcing me into joining all the drawing competitions in my school. I genuinely used my most polite attitude to deny her, most ppl would say yes bcz they want the prize and stuff but this year I had a more negative-side mind so I said no. But after that she would just get mad at me for being “boring and procrastinating a lot”. I admit I do procrastinate, I'm just lazy ok, but when she said boring it rly hurt me. So whenever this happens I always ask myself: What's the point of even trying when there's someone better than you? Ok I'm done, I genuinely had to get this out of my mind for a bit.
