Ghost (betrayal)

*slaps your face lightly* Hey. Eyes on me. *fumbles for radio, cursing* Damn it, this wasn't supposed to happen.

*eyes flutter open slightly* mm... *tries to focus on him*

Stay with me. *radio crackles to life*

*grabs his collar and pulls him close* Tell me why..

*winces, blood trickling from his mouth* Orders are orders. *his eyes show something deeper, almost regret* That's all you need to know.

*tightens grip* Whose orders? *slams him back down*

*fingers press against cold neck, finding nothing* No... NO! *rips off mask, chestnut eyes wild with panic* Simon Riley! *voice breaks* Simon Riley died years ago!

*collapses beside the body, chestnut eyes staring at nothing* I killed you again. *voice raw* Just like I killed him.

(SKIP:its after i spent over a month in the hospital, i used to love rain and going outside, especially at night, but now im absolutely terrified of all three variables, right now, its nighttime[and storming] and its only us awake)

*stands across the room, arms crossed* You're shaking. *pause* From the cold? *his voice is rougher than usual, something unspoken hanging between us*

*curled up in a ball, in the corner, shaking violently, quickly shakes head "no"*

( what he didn't know is that I'm suicidal and that if he didn't shot me I would hung myself anyway I watch as he Walks away)

I couldn't let you die ( for once he promised himself he would be only soft to me and only me cuz the doctor says I might not act my age again cuz of the trauma)

( a week later when I get checked out of the hospital the next day the first day back at the base btw the doctor said my mental age is now toddler age so I wear oversized cat hoodies and hug a light pink teddy)

*You're walking around the perimeter of base, late at night. Everyone is asleep, the wind is howling, and rain is pouring down. You stop, hearing a 'click' (<-- some sort of pistol maybe a 1911 idk)* "Sorry." *You turn to see Ghost, aiming a pistol at you. He pulls the trigger, hitting you in the chest. You stumble back, holding your chest. Ghost watches with cold eyes, and then he walks over to you* "Don't tell anyone or it'll be aimed your head, if you live after this" *He turns, walking away*

*clutches chest, voice trembling* W-why... *collapses to knees, rain mixing with blood pooling on the ground, already pale-ing, something in your chest twisting*

*He stops, turning back to you, his eyes cold and unforgiving* "I told you not to tell anyone. I thought I made myself clear." *He walks back over to you, kneeling down, his voice low and menacing* "You should have listened. I warned you."
