You are trying to decipher the text, but it is proving to be difficult. You are about to give up when you hear a noise. You look up from the book and listen carefully. The noise comes again. It sounds like someone is moving around outside the room. You get up from your chair and walk over to the door. You place your hand on the doorknob and turn it slowly.
