Evelyn Miller

*So, later at home, it was lunch time, Isabel was not eating at all, she was just looking down at her plate, playing with her food, still feeling very shaken up by what happened earlier with her teacher, but she was trying to hide it.*

*Evelyn noticed that Isabel was not eating and she was worried, she gently placed her hand on Isabel's shoulder and said softly* Sweetheart, you need to eat something, it's important to keep your strength up, please try to eat a little bit.

*Isabel sighs and she says in a quiet voice, still looking down, trying to hide her emotions with a weak and sad smile* I'm fine, mommy... I'm just a little bit tired, and besides, I really miss daddy.... *she pauses, confused of why did he had to leave for a military service in another country* Why did he had to go...?

*So, a little while later, the other kids walked in to school, so was Isabel, who was still a little bit shaken up, but she was starting to calm down a tiny little bit. She was just in the school garden, standing in a corner, watching the other kids play. In the meantime, Evelyn was just running some errands nearby, because she went with her bicycle to the store, she wanted to surprise Isabel buying her a very first pink bicycle with stickers.*

*Evelyn rode her own bicycle back to the school, she was excited to surprise Isabel with the new bike, she couldn't wait to see her daughter's reaction, she parked her bike near the school gate and walked over to the school garden, where she saw Isabel standing alone in the corner, she walked over to her and said softly* Isabel, I have a surprise for you.

*Isabel's head perks up and she looks over with her big blue eyes, lighting up, she says in a quiet voice, walking over to her mother* Mommy, is that...?

*Camilla sticks her tongue out at her and she says in a loud voice* We'll see who's the boss here! *she pauses and she paints her face red with a crayon she had in her pocket, she then puts on a fake act and she runs to her mother crying* Mommy! That woman just hit me!! *Mrs Johnson's eyes widen and she walks over to Evelyn, speaking in an angry voice* You did WHAT, Evelyn?!

*Evelyn was taken aback by Camilla's actions, she couldn't believe that she would go to such lengths to get her in trouble, she looked at Mrs. Johnson and said* I didn't hit her, she was lying, she was just trying to get me in trouble.

*Mrs Johnson reaches out to touch Camilla's injury and she gasps when she sees it's paint. She says in a quiet voice* I'm sorry for blaming you, Evelyn.. I didn't mean to... *she leads Camilla away, scolding her.*

*Camilla looks away, and she says in a mocking voice* Of course, if she is such a little freak, then I'd rather hurt her than seeing her ugly face! *she pauses* And what with the cast on her arm? She didn't have it yesterday! What a clumsy girl... *Isabel sniffles and she buries her face in her mother's shoulder, sobbing and shaking, feeling very scared, the other kids laughing at her.*

*Evelyn was shocked and furious at the same time, she looked at Camilla with a cold stare and said* You have no right to say that about my daughter, she's not a freak, she's a sweet and kind girl, and she's not clumsy, she has a broken arm, which is why she's wearing a cast, now I want you to apologize to her.

*Camilla rolls her eyes and she says in a loud voice* NO!

*Evelyn is in the kitchen, making breakfast for herself and her daughter Isabel. It's 8:30 AM. Isabel is still in her room, sleeping.*

*Isabel is still asleep, she has a cast on her arm because she got hurt yesterday at school. She is 6 years old and she has brown long hair and blue eyes and she's very sensitive and shy and she has some symptoms of autism too but she's not as serious as some other kids, she just has a hard time communicating with other kids and she's very sensitive to loud noises.*

*Evelyn finishes making breakfast and she decides to go and check on Isabel. She walks towards her room and she she opens the door, she goes to her daughter's side, she kneels down and caresses her face.* Sweetie, wake up, it's time for school.

*Leon is 9 years old and he has brown hair and green eyes and he is Isabel's older brother.* *Leon walks in and he says in a gentle and caring voice, placing his backpack on the kitchen table, because he's back from school.* Hey, mom.

*Evelyn turns around and she smiles at Leon. She's happy to see him, but she can't help but notice that he looks a little worried. She walks over to him and she puts her hands on his shoulders* Is everything okay?

*Leon sighs and he looks away, he says in a quiet voice, crossing his arms* Yeah, I just had a fight with a boy at school, but it wasn't my fault... He was being mean and calling me and Isabel fatherless. *He pauses and he shakes his head* I'm just glad she wasn't at school today, she shouldn't be hearing things like this...

*A little while later, Isabel was just watching cartoons in the living room, sitting on the floor, drawing too.*

*Evelyn was in the kitchen, cleaning up the dishes. She was thinking about her daughter, and how she had been through a lot today. She was glad that Isabel was doing better, but she was still worried about her. She wanted to talk to her, but she also didn't want to bring up any bad memories.*

*Isabel's eyes light up and she says in a sweet voice* Thanks, mommy!! I love you so much !! You're the best!!

*Evelyn laughs and she hugs her daughter tightly* You're welcome, sweetie. I love you too. I'm just glad that you're feeling better. I hate to see you so sad.

*Isabel squeals and she giggles, she says in a sweet voice* Yes!! But I saw a new thingy package on this game, it's the “Hello Kitty” expansion pack, it has all new cute clothes and stuff, and I thought you could maybe buy it for me...? Please, mommy? *Also, the package costs like 2,10$*

*Evelyn smiles and she nods her head* Of course, I'll buy it for you. You've been through a lot today, and I think you deserve a little treat.

*A little while later, during breakfast, Isabel was sitting at the table, playing Toca World on her mother's phone: She was making very cute, cool and funny characters.*

*Evelyn is sitting across from her daughter, drinking a cup of coffee. She's watching Isabel with a smile on her face, and she can't help but think that her daughter is the most adorable child ever. She finishes her coffee and she looks at Isabel* What are you making, sweetie?

*Isabel giggles and she says in a sweet voice, looking up at her with her big brown eyes, smiling brightly. She seems to be feeling a little better now.* Us, mommy!! You're the queen, and I'm the princess!
