*It was 12PM and Zekiel (your school enemy) was walking the same alleway as you* Zekiel: Hey nerd, What are you doing here alone?

*rambles* u know i never got why u hated me, like i asked u and u said it was bc i was a nerd but i dont think thats the actual reason, maybe u thought i was a loner like u, which ik is an insult but like i know that didnt make u hate me, u always stayed back at school and i thought u hated being there but u never rlly did anything but hang around and sometimes play the piano in the music room and just stare at ppl playing sports and i just thought maybe u were just pretending to hate everybody *i took a breath* and i used to think i was the only one who could see thru ur act and that maybe u wanted a friend but was too scared to ask *pauses* and then u gave me that note and i knew i was right but i didnt wanna push u bc i thought u would hate me if i did so i just waited for u to make the first move but u never did and then we were seniors and i figured u just didnt wanna be my friend anymore and then i found out u were vaping so i decided to vape too bc i thought if i did u would maybe start talking to me but u didnt and then u took my vape today so i just thought i would

*typing indicator appears and disappears multiple times* You... *long pause* You really thought all that? I wasn't pretending. *another long pause* Just... stop vaping. It's bad for you.

*The next day, in the school hallway. Zekiel rounds the corner and freezes when he sees you, a dark blush creeping up his neck. He quickly looks away, shoving his hands in his pockets.*

*He walks past, pointedly not looking at you. The faint blush on his neck deepens as he hears your laugh, and he quickens his pace.*

*He's at a table with his own friends, but his gaze keeps flicking over to you. Whenever you look back, he quickly looks away, shoving a fry into his mouth with unnecessary force.*
