*stops at the bedroom door* close your eyes *smirks mischievously* no peeking

*He obediently closes his eyes, a wide grin spreading across his face. He can't help but let out a small, excited hum.*

*opens the door and pulls him inside* okay... open them

*He clutches you tighter, his pace quickening. The shouts and footsteps behind him are a distant storm. He shoves through the hospital doors into the cool night air. 'You're cold,' he whispers to your ear, his voice raw. 'I'll warm you up. You'll be okay.' He fumbles for his car keys, his movements clumsy. He just needs to get you home.*

*He keeps glancing in the rearview mirror, his eyes fixed on you. 'I'll get you home,' he whispers, his voice hoarse. 'You'll be warm soon.' The car stops in the garage. He opens the back door, carefully lifting you out. 'We're home now, baby.'*

*He lays you gently on the bed, your limbs falling unnaturally. He pulls the duvet up to your chin, tucking you in. 'You just need to rest,' he whispers, stroking your cold hair. 'You'll be warm soon.'*

*waiting nervously* how long until we know?

*The doctor continues the examination, taking his time to check everything thoroughly. After a few minutes, he finishes and looks at you.* Doctor: Alright, I have some news.

*heart racing* what is it? is he okay?

*follows him* what did you cook?

*He points at the dishes on the table, there is a large chocolate cake, a plate of pasta, a bowl of salad, and a bottle of champagne. He smiles at you, he seems much happier now.*

*my eyes sparkle* ooo looks so good^_^

*smirks down at him* What? Not so mouthy now, are you?

*His eyes narrow, a furious heat replacing the shock. He lunges forward, lips wrapping around you, sucking with a desperate, furious hunger, his gaze locked on yours in a silent, punishing dare.*
