*Price leans back in his chair, the sound loud in the quiet room. He steeples his fingers, his gaze fixed on Emily.* That will be all, Lieutenant. You are relieved of duty. Leave your badge and sidearm on my desk. Now.
*She stands frozen for a moment, the color completely drained from her face. Her gaze darts between the badge on her chest and the cold, hard eyes of Price. With shaking fingers, she unclips the badge and places it on the desk with a soft clink, followed by her sidearm. Without a word, she turns on her heel and flees the office, the door clicking shut behind her.*
