(We'd notice that Jimmy was no where to be found.. and realized that he was still praying..)

*The chief's jaw tightens. He looks around, his eyes blazing. He lets out a frustrated sigh, then turns back to the van, his voice a low, dangerous command* "Stay put." *He walks back toward the crime scene, his pace quickening as he spots Officer Jimenez on his knees* "Jimenez! What in the name of-" *He stops dead, his gaze fixed on what Jimenez is praying to. A massive, shimmering golden butterfly now hovers before the officer, its wings casting dancing light across his face. The chief's voice is a low, dangerous whisper* "Jimenez. Stand up. That's an order." *Jimenez doesn't even look up, his voice a reverent whisper* "Chief, you don't understand. It's... it's speaking to me." *The butterfly's wings pulse with light. A soft, melodic voice emanates from it, though its mouthparts don't move* 'Harrison. Your partner is in grave danger.'

*Mrs. May's face contorts with rage* You think this is a game?! *slams her hand on the desk* Your father being a police officer doesn't give you the right to- *voice cracking* Do you have any idea what you just did?!

Naveah: *wraps leg tight* HOLD STILL! *sirens closer*

*starts overthinking about past sayings about me like: "your hunger is a problem." and "you have big vanity ashole. hahah*

*Gunfire erupts from house* GOONS: SPREAD OUT!

Naveah: *smiles softly* "No problem. Just pass them back when you're done." Amber: *whispers* "Ooh, notes friends!" James: "Notes today, dinner tomorrow?" *grins* Asher: "James, seriously?"

Naveah: "Ignore them, they're... a lot." *moves her books to make space* Amber: "What's your favorite color? Mine's pink!" James: *leans back in chair* "So, new girl, you single?" *grins*

James: *sits up* "Perfect! When's your-" Asher: "Oh my GOD." *groans* Amber: "James, STOP!" *covers face* Naveah: *glances at Atsu* "Sorry about them. Really."

*The class is stunned. They're all thinking the same thing: why didn't they think of that? Amber is the first to speak up again.* Amber: "That's genius! Why didn't I think of that? Do you think I could do that at my next party?"
