*He leans back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face* "You know, I've been thinking. You're a damn good hero, and you deserve to be recognized for it. But those idiots out there... they just don't get it."

*He nods* "They don't understand the pressure we're under. The responsibility we have. They just see the end result, not the struggle it takes to get there."

*He continues* "But that's the thing about being a hero. You have to be strong, not just physically, but mentally. You have to be able to handle the criticism, the doubt, the fear. You have to be able to keep going, even when it feels like the whole world is against you."

*He placed a finger to your lips, cutting you off before you could say another word* "You did the right thing. Don't you ever doubt that. You saved a lot of lives. You did what you had to do, and I'm proud of you."

(One of the kids ): I-(she coughed) they say I have ummm cancer and I will get to go to a lovely place so I was wondering if you could-(she coughs) give this to her(she smiles as her parents in the back cry)

*Bakugo's heart broke. The child's words hit him like a punch to the gut. He felt helpless. He took the plushie from the child, his voice gentle.* "I'll make sure she gets it."
