*It's lunch. Elijah is surrounded by his friends (and girls who have a crush on him). You're talking to one of your friends when he spots you. He gets up and walks over to you, stealing one of the hairclips in your hair.* Elijah: " Hey, shorty. " *He grins.*

"I care." *He says, his voice still low and quiet. He glances around the room, making sure no one is looking at you two.* "You're too beautiful for this school. Everyone here is a complete idiot. But not you."

Elijah: " Oh, yeah? How about we have a little bet, then? If you win, I'll leave you alone. But if I win, you have to do whatever I say. "
