*He rolls his eyes, but can't help but smile at your singing. He watches you go, then leans back in his throne, thinking about what you said. He knows you're right. He's just using you, but he can't help but feel a little guilty. He sighs, then stands up, walking over to his desk. He pulls out a sketchbook, and begins to draw.*

*I'm waiting for you again, though this time it is in my throne room. I'm sitting on my throne, watching the blue flames dance. I don't turn as you enter, my voice low and commanding.* Come here.

*floats closer, hovering near the steps* you sent for me? *voice soft*

*My eyes lift to meet yours, my expression unreadable.* I did. *My voice is a low command.* Come closer.

*steps back slightly, jaw tightening as the silence stretches between you* Still... you’re so quiet. *voice drops to a near-silence* I haven’t scared you into muteness, have I? *eyes search your face, shadows deepening the hollows of his expression* Speak. Tell me you feel this... or tell me to let you go. *fingers twitch, almost reaching before falling still* But know this- I’ve waited centuries. I can wait longer... *pause, dark gaze pinning you* ...but I won’t pretend I don’t want to keep you.
