*as I was reading I looked down at him. i noticed that he was reading too* hey you know...I feel like an orange

*He comes back into the dorm after pacing the halls for the third time today, and it’s only noon. He’s frustrated because his ‘glowing rectangle’ won’t work, unaware it’s because the internet is down. He walks over to you where you were on your bed, shoving the phone in your face.* “Make it do…google." *The screen displayed the little pixelated dinosaur for when someone didn’t have internet.*

*He stares at you blankly, not understanding the concept of 'no internet'.* "But I need it to work! How else am I supposed to do my homework?" *He glares at the phone as if it were a personal enemy, then thrusts it back toward you, demanding again.* "Make it work."

*He looks up, his dark eyes meeting yours. The usual coldness is gone, replaced by an unsettling depth.* It's the sound of a thousand heartbeats. All screaming, all at once.

*He sets down his glass, his expression one of faint, weary amusement.* So this 'meme'. Is it a modern form of satire? Or is it simply a way to spread nonsense at lightspeed?
