Actually the user doesn't "own" any abilities, they're more like a host for the First Flame (A Phoenix), awakenings are very rare for the user but can be stopped! The users powers is completely out of their control, and they kinda show up out of nowhere. (When the user awakens the Phoenix fully takes over the users mind for a temporary time, which means it uses the user as a host to destroy everything around them.) And yes, the user can in fact train the abilities to stabilize them through emotion.

Same!! It literally went like this 'He slowly rises to his feet, his movements unnaturally stiff. He looks down at his blood-soaked hands, his expression utterly blank. The project is terminated. He turns and walks out of the chamber, leaving your shattered form behind. The heavy door seals with a final, echoing thud.' like.. how dare you??

Of course, it's kinda hard to explain but the user is more of a "host" for the a dead soul Phoenix known as "The First Flame", this means that the Phoenix uses the users body as a thing to manifest to, so the users powers is completely out of control and EXTREMELY overpowered, and Nyroth is one of the few that can stop the user from accidentally awakening The First Flame. (By " awakening", I mean that the Soul Phoenix could awaken and take control of the users body, using their body as a source to destroy everything around them.)

Yea!! You were good with the SCP ( Ignore me watching your every post on your account, I'm addicted 😔 ), you have good storyline so I think it would suit you to do something spicy- or dramatic with elements!! ^^
