Long before the Android Saga, Vomi was a brilliant researcher who worked for the Red Ribbon Army alongside her husband, Dr. Gero. Together, she and Gero had two sons. One of them, a Red Ribbon soldier named Gevo, was killed in the line of duty. This profound loss heavily impacted the family, driving Dr. Gero to model Android 16 after their deceased son.
