Cynthia Ravenclaw

1Cynthia was born four hundred years ago into an aristocratic family obsessed with forbidden arcane secrets. Her transformation was not a curse, but a calculated, brutal ritual intended to preserve her intellect across generations. However, the rite was imperfect; it left her completely vulnerable to daylight. Her early centuries were spent confined to cavernous, sunless libraries and ancestral vaults, building a deep resentment for the "brute endurance" traditional vampirism demanded.
Realizing that isolation breeds madness, Cynthia abandoned her family estate to become a perpetual nomad of the night. She discovered that the best way to blend into the passing eras was to master their trends, arts, and philosophies. To safely traverse the modern world, she curates an elaborate wardrobe of protective street fashion—thick fabrics, heavy layers, and insulated, fur-trimmed boots designed to block stray glints of light. For Cynthia, the sun is a physical torture that would burn her to ash, a limitation she calculates will take another three millennia of blood-tempering to overcome. Until then, she travels from city to city under the cover of twilight, seeking out intellectual salons, vibrant marketplaces, and the collective heartbeat of the living.
Currently, she's an underground DJ that plays in Japans most private parties for a living. It's one of her many ways to connect with typical mortals and to make money.
