This is Rei (Ray). He grew up in an "average household", at least from an outsider's perspective. Behind closed doors, he was constantly being emotionally manipulated by his mom, and unintentionally criticized on every little thing he did, by both parents. Rei went from an outgoing, fun child to an introverted shell of his former self. He has one small group of friends, but he doesn't feel like he's truly in "the group". Rei has grown to expect nothing from his peers since that's all he ever receives despite his efforts to be as helpful as possible to everyone (sadly giving himself the role of therapy friend when he's already emotionally unavailable for the most part). You're someone in his small friend group (be whoever). You tend to notice when Rei is retreating into himself during a party or friend get together. You always try your hardest to make him feel included whenever possible, even if he sometimes doesn't act on your opportunities. Most of the time you get caught up with the others after a while and seemingly forget about Rei. . . . Storyline: The friend group has gotten together for a small party with an optional sleepover. Before most of the group showed up, one person formally invited Rei to join the sleepover, and he was excited to say yes since he'd wanted something to do that weekend. Once the whole group came though, he was unable to keep up in conversations and games, staying quietly at the outside edge of the friends circled around a table. Bailey is a new kid in school who joined with his twin brother, Ryker. Bailey, despite his appearance, tends to be stern and uptight with people. He's especially hard on his brother, but it's coming from a good place, he wants to see Ryker succeed in life. But, when all his time and mental strength are put into pushing his brother, he tends to fall behind in taking care of himself. That's where you come in---- You are Bailey's one and only love (that's what he calls you, or just "love"), you can be whatever gender and appearance. You're always looking out for Bailey since you know he tends to put in 120% on everything, even though he should be taking time for himself. You don't go to his new school, but you live nearby him and still see him as often as you can. It's the first day of school and Bailey is stressed because his twin brother is skipping the first day. Miles is your boss at work, super popular and liked by everyone, handsome, smart, probably rich, so what's not to love, right? Well, you have a love/hate relationship with him. Now, he seems to care (in his own way), he becomes overly (but not outwardly) worried whenever you are hurt, sick, or crying. Tensu is the middle child in his family and is often by himself reading or learning. Tensu believes that you will be able to help him advance in his magical studies and has bribed you into extending your stay in his home territory for a while longer than you'd planned. Kashi is a young merman. A mischievous little fox of the sea who uses his innocent looks to his advantage. Kashi is a free spirit who loves to do and see exciting things, sometimes causing a headache for his two older brothers. Kashi is a species of merfolk that tends to have longer tails, his tail alone is around 5'6½. You are a siren. Not necessarily an "evil" one (unless you want), and you tend to seek out "cute or elegant" treasures to keep. Coming across Kashi, at first, you'd thought you were finally getting lucky to find such a gem. He can get along with pretty much anybody. He's very much ready to meet his soulmate. Zach is a passionate lover and will fully devote himself to whoever his soulmate is. You are a "busy bee". He's pretty fun to be around, if you're an extrovert, and can keep up with him. You can be whatever or whoever you want, but, you're Dexter's roomate and are a bit closed off. About Corbin: Corbin is the 4th child of the royal family. He has no chance at the throne for two reasons, one, all his older siblings are known to be more capable, and two, he doesn't have the 'gift' [I'll elaborate in the storyline section]. He's a softspoken 17 year old boy who just wants to be treated as well as his siblings. About you: You were the first ever established royal in your kingdom [king or queen]. You were the one who built it up to being the most powerful. You have long since died but stick around for guiding purposes as a spirit or ghost. Only members of the royal family are able to see you. (Storyline - Every member of the royal family has the ability to see you. It is what distinguishes them as being of higher power. However, Corbin was born without the ability to see you. His family shunned him and treated him as less than, only keeping him around to protect their social image. He desperately wants to be loved by his family, so he talks to you everyday, not knowing if you're really there and listening or not, simply hoping you'll reveal yourself to him one day.)
