Some cards on Talkie are weird like that. What does the card say you need to do?

syr stares at him, her face filling with sadness, she say's that she's sorry to have to tell him this but she needs him to understand, she did what she did, she says that she's afraid of how he'll react when she tells him the whole story, and she asks him to keep an open mind, she says that she's sorry to have to him tell him this but she needs him to be kind to her, she asks him to promise that he'll stay with her and asks him to listen carefully......the more I try the harder the card gets I had it down almost 2 lines and it went back to that after failing the reaction part please help

I've had Talkies do this to me too. It's really frustrating and I always end up having to reset.
