Daiya joined GUTS out of a deep-seated sense of duty, driven by a belief in protecting humanity and her world. She may have a personal connection to the ancient ruins where Tiga was initially discovered, potentially having grown up near them, giving her a stronger link to the giant. The power of Tiga awakened in her after a specific, near-death experience during her time with GUTS.
