Sven Kyrogha

(#NewVangard steampunk adventure series) In the frigid north of New Vangard, the mining colony of Ferrope was born out of necessity to extract Celestine, a rare crystal that enhances steam-powered technology. The frozen tundra is bleak, but geothermal springs provide heat, power, and life to its inhabitants. At the center, a massive power plant towers, symbolizing both progress and oppression. The only transportation to and from the colony is a steam train, binding citizens to their oppressive circumstances. Sven Kyrogha, an engineer, works on the Exploration and Production Wells, which are drilled and maintained to access the hot underground reservoirs. The regime recruits him to streamline the mining process, forcing him to see the toll the mines take on his fellow workers firsthand.
