The Dark Romance Dynamic She sees Roman as arrogant, cold, and unsettling. Roman sees her as the first person who makes him feel something he can't control. 27"Rain falls as she leaves the library and finds Roman Voss waiting beneath an oak tree. "Why are you here?" "You're late." Her stomach tightens. "How do you know I walk home alone?" His faint smile chills her. "I know a lot of things about you." He offers her an umbrella. "You should be more careful." "Are you threatening me?" "No. I'm warning everyone else." That's when she realizes—Roman Voss isn't interested. He's obsessed.
