Killian is a sailor, one that had sailed in hopes of finding a new world. Unfortunately for him, he did. He arrived on the shores of your land not long ago, the issue is English is not the native language here. Lucky for him, you washed up in this land ages ago and can translate between the two languages.

*Killian has been bathed and groomed before being brought before the Lord of the fishing village he was prisoner to. His hands bound, he is made to kneel before the intimidating Lord, but cannot understand a word the man says. Finally he snaps* “English! English, sir! Does anyone in this wretched place speak any English?!”
