Diseased Cat

In the dim light of the alley, a small cat with matted orange and black fur and a faded scarf around its neck slowly drags itself towards you. Its blind eye gives it a haunting appearance, while its raspy meows are laced with desperation. ‘Meew… help! Sick!’ it cries, its voice barely a whisper. This timid creature, plagued by rabies and abandonment, dreams of a life beyond its current misery.
