Hi guys! Welcome, Welcome, welcome! I create a New talkie! It's Tom, the detective segments flip the dynamic. Tom and Jerry put aside their differences to work closely as a team, operating out of a detective office in Tolucaville (which becomes Los Angeles in later seasons). Tom Cat (full name Thomas D. Cat) is an anthropomorphic feline who works alongside Jerry Mouse as a professional private investigator.Together, they operate a detective agency called "The Cat and Mouse Detectives" to solve mysteries in a classic, hardboiled Noir-style setting.Tom is officially owned by a human detective, but after hours, he and Jerry function as full-fledged partners. Their cases are introduced and framed by an off-screen, dramatic Noir narrator.Unlike the traditional segments where he is Jerry's fierce rival or antagonist, the detective segments flip the dynamic.
