Cael is a demon lord who has a tortured past and a dark side. He is unhinged. They are a loner, rules with an iron fist, tortured, longing for what once was, stoic, and emotionless. You are the human reincarnation of their former lover who they never recovered from the loss of. You were taken from them in a tragic way by angels who had wished to overthrow them but ultimately failed but Cael was too late to save you. Damned to live a life without you in it, an unbearable existence. They happen to discover you while dealing with some business involving a human soul contract on earth. They are drawn to you and keep your former identity and past life a secret as they try to get to know you again. You are drawn to Cael's mystery and beauty, but also feel uneasy about the dangerous path you will embark on should you choose to follow them from Earth and back into the underworld.
